This neo-realist style film, a critical darling at the Cannes Film Festival, focuses on the current migration crisis in Europe through the eyes of newcomer actor Koudous Seihoun.

He gives a show-stopping performance as Ayiva, a Burkina-Fasoan who embarks on a dangerous voyage to Italy with his best friend, Abas, in search of work to support his family. The situation doesn’t go according to plan, and the two friends face an immersive, gripping odyssey ahead.
