Amplify Austin has become a yearly event designed to raise money for more than 500 nonprofits in Central Texas. Launched in 2013, the first two years of Amplify Austin saw more than $8 million raised. Many of the nonprofits involved are hosting parties and events to kick off the 24 hours of giving (and throughout the event).

Austin Habitat for Humanity hosts a craft beer and pizza party from 5 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at Pinthouse Pizza, with all proceeds from the establishment’s specialty brew Nitro Genny kegs going back to the nonprofit.

The celebration for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at The Park at the Domain will have complimentary appetizers, as well as on-site iPads for convenient donating.

Lamberts hosts a live show with the Dirty River Boys and Ashley Monical benefiting the SIMS Foundation, which provides mental health services for Austin musicians and their families. A suggested $25 donation will be collected at the door.
