Although nothing really has a date/time yet South by Southwest’s schedule tool is up and running which makes it easier to peruse the list of bands added to the festival alphabetically and/or by genre. This way, alert fans and fest-goers can watch as bands trickle onto the lineup, instead of waiting for big band drop announcements from the fest like the one that came out earlier this week.
Today several significant names were added to the list, most notably, punky young British pop star Charli XCX. Also new to the fest lineup are Aaron Maine’s indie pop project Porches, whose upcoming release was pegged by Pitchfork as one of the year’s most anticipated and alt-rockers Grizfolk.
Twitter user and avid fest-follower Cameron @ SXSW, posted this (unverified) list of 72 bands he says were added to the festival lineup today.
