Come out to the Wildflower Center for a free day of fun celebrating founder Lady Bird Johnson and her accomplishments. As the wife of President Lyndon B. Johnson, she was a catalyst for the environmental focus of his administration, and the date of Tribute Day corresponds with the day that President Johnson gave the First Lady a copy of 50 pens used to sign environmental and beautification laws in 1968.

This year’s Tribute Day will include a display of a portrait of Mrs. Johnson by Norman Rockwell in the McDermott Learning Center.

Details: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Free. 4801 La Crosse Ave. www.wildflower.org/tributeday.
