JAY JANNER / AMERICAN-STATESMAN

Come out to the Wildflower Center for a free day of fun celebrating founder Lady Bird Johnson and her accomplishments. As the wife of President Lyndon B. Johnson, she was a catalyst for the environmental focus of his administration, and this year’s Tribute Day will focus primarily on that side of the first lady.

The festivities will include a display of a portrait of Mrs. Johnson by Norman Rockwell in the McDermott Learning Center, a one-day sale at the store featuring several books from the Johnson estate and more.

Details: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Free. 4801 La Crosse Ave. wildflower.org/tributeday.
