Come listen to the kind of live music that existed before electric guitars and amps.

The Austin Symphony Orchestra’s summer tradition of free ensemble concerts in front of the Long Center terrace continues with everything from jazz and light classical to pop selections and film scores.

Each Sunday, a different ensemble of the symphony will be featured; this week’s will showcase the strings. There’s no performance on July 5.

Info: 7:30 p.m. Sundays through Aug. 23. Free. Hartman Concert Park at the Long Center, 701 W. Riverside Drive. http://www.austinsymphony.org.
