Brendan Anthony, known for his years of playing fiddle with Texas musician Pat Green, will be the new director of the Texas Music Office, the Texas Tribune reported.
Since the news surfaced on Jan. 7 that director Casey Monahan would not be retained by new Gov. Greg Abbott after serving as director for 25 years, speculation had centered on Abbott chief of staff Daniel Hodge’s ties to Green. The governor’s inauguration events included a performance by Green.
