A recent survey by the National Endowment of the Arts shows that more than 70 percent of people age 44 and under attended arts events annually.

Results from the NEA’s Annual Arts Basic Survey, released today, show that the younger people bested those 45 and older when it comes to attending arts and culture events.

In other words, when broadly defined as the NEA defines arts events (see chart below), it’s not just “people of a certain” age who show up.
