As the list of Austin restaurants opting out of Texas’ new open carry law, so does the list of grocery stores.

H-E-B and Whole Foods made news late last month by announcing that customers would not be allowed to openly carry weapons in stores.

Target, Costco and Randalls are also opting out, and this week, the small East Austin grocer Ingredients joined them.

The most notable exception to this list is the Kroger grocery chain, which does not have any locations in Austin.
