In the wake of guac-gate, in which Texans went into an uproar over a New York Times recipe that called for peas, we have decided to make it our mission to find readers’ favorite guacamole in Austin.
We asked readers and welcomed any and all suggestions — even Jack Allen’s pumpkin seed laden guac — as long as the guacamole can be found at an Austin area restaurant. We’ve turned the list of suggestions into a poll so readers can vote for what will be named Austin’s favorite.
