Although Austin is known as the Live Music Capital of the World, the pre-recorded music video scene also deserves some spotlight. Enter the first Austin Music Video Festival (AMVFest), showcasing both the classics and cutting edge work from past and present local artists. The fest hopes to unite Austin’s talent in both the music and film industries through screenings, panels, and rockin’ parties.

We’re giving away four pairs of wristbands that will provide access to the entire four-day festival with screenings, panels, workshops, parties, and an awards show.

There are two ways to enter:

1. Follow us on Instagram (@austin360) and like our post about the AMVFest.

2. Send an email with the subject line “AMVFest” to giveaways@statesman.com with the correct answer to this trivia question:

Which classic band filmed their music video right here in Austin, TX?
–Pink Floyd “Learning to Fly”
-Neil Young and Crazy Horse “Ramada Inn”
-The Clash “Rock the Casbah”

One winner will be randomly selected from the Instagram contest, and three winners will be selected at random from the correct responses we receive by email. Each winner will receive one pair of wristbands. Wristbands will be held at will call. The winners must present a valid photo ID. The winners will be notified by email by 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 14.  Non-winning participants will not be notified. Austin360 does not store personal information of giveaway participants. Your email will not be used for any purpose other than winner notification.
