It’s summer, so there are plenty of great movies out in theaters right now. This weekend, a small film might be turning out to be a a big hit – “Me and Earl and the Dying Girl.”
Our reviewer gave the the movie an A-, calling it “nearly pitch perfect.” It won the Sundance’s grand jury prize and audience award.
The film tells the story of a high school senior who befriends a girl who has just been diagnosed with cancer. It’s based on a popular novel by Jesse Andrews and directed by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon.
