Peter Case at Cactus Cafe. So respected by his peers is California troubadour Peter Case that when a tribute album was assembled for him many years ago, it ballooned into a three-disc set. Case, the former leader of the Plimsouls and the Nerves who’s been stopping in at the Cactus to play shows under his own name for nearly three decades now, has a new record out called “Highway 62.” Opening is rising local singer-songwriter Jaimee Harris. $20-$22. 8:30 p.m. 2247 Guadalupe St. cactuscafe.org. — P.B.
