101X Summer Cinema. Another summer film series begins on Wednesday with a screening of ‘Empire Records.’ Films have been chosen by the public’s online votes. Films start at dusk (8:30 ish). Central Market, 4001 N Lamar.

Blues On The Green. The opening night of the well-known summer music series was rescheduled for Wednesday night. Jimmie Vaughan and special guests headline the Official Antone’s 40th Anniversary Celebration. 8 p.m. Zilker Park.

The Digital Wild Day. The beloved Austin band will be honored with an official naming of June 4th as The Digital Wild Day. The event will also stream live on 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Austin City Hall, 301 W 2nd St.

Unplugged at the Grove. Dale Watson performs at this week’s edition of one of the favorite summer music series in town. 8 p.m. Thursday. Shady Grove, 1624 Barton Springs Rd.

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged). Oh Dragon Theatre Company presents a fast-paced romp through Bard’s extensive playbook, featuring only three actors. 8 p.m. Thursday-Sunday. Pan Am Hillside, 2100 E 3rd St.

That ’80s Concert. The Austin Civic Orchestra again presents its annual Pops Concerts. This time, they’ll celebrate the best of the ’80s from movie scores to Michael Jackson. 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Zilker Hillside Theater, 2201 Barton Springs Rd.

Summer Open House. Your young one could develop a new interest in music while they meet teachers, try out instruments, and hear mini concerts. 2-5 p.m. Saturday. Orpheus Academy of Music, 3918-C Far West Blvd.

Music at the Domain. Camp out on the lawn between NoRTH Italia and Starbucks and hear some family-friendly live music. 2-5 p.m. Sunday. The Domain, 11410 Century Oaks Terrace.
