Martin Luther King, Jr. March, Festival, and Food Drive. 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday. The annual community event celebrates diversity and multi-culturalism in our city. The march begins with a small program at the MLK Statue on the University of Texas campus and proceeds through Huston-Tillotson University, where activities are planned. A festival will follow the march, continuing until 3 p.m.

George Kinney In-Store Performance. 5 p.m. Monday. The lead singer of The Golden Dawn plays live at Waterloo Records to celebrate the band’s cover of issue #38 of Ugly Things magazine. The band formed in 1966 in Austin, and reunited in 2002 for Texas Psych Fest.

Texas Radio Live. 6 p.m. Wednesday. Every Wednesday, Texas Radio Live brings you free performances from great Texas musicians. This week features Alvin Crow and Haley Cole. Guero’s Oak Garden.

Women Printmakers of Austin Opening Reception. 6 p.m. Wednesday. The annual exhibition features recent works from current members, embracing many different printmaking styles and techniques like woodcuts, silkscreen, etchings, and other traditional print media. Dougherty Arts Center. 

Planet Music: Dance Around the World. 7 p.m. Friday. Four dance groups representing different regions of the world will perform in a showcase of world dances. The event includes a folk fashion show of traditional costumes as well as dance lessons between performances. Family friendly. Dougherty Arts Center.

Ramen Tatsu-Ya South Opening Day. 11 a.m. Sunday. The second location of the collaboration between local chefts Tatsu Aikawa and Takuya Matsumoto opens Sunday. Finally, the wildly popular Ramen Tatsu-Ya North will be relieved from the crowds.
