“Hunt for the Wilderpeople.” Director Taika Waititi’s “What We Do in the Shadows” was one of the canniest horror-comedies anyone had seen in years, so it’s excellent to learn that he can also do sweet, funny, family action movie. “Hunt” concerns about a city kid adjusting to life with a new foster family in rural New Zealand. Starring Sam Neil and Julian Dennison, it’s currently rocking a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes and an 80% on Metacritic. At area theaters.
