“Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture.” In case your summer’s not creepy enough, this open-world game begins with the end of the world as seen in its setting of a beautiful English countryside. Expect gorgeous graphics and a haunting soundtrack. Rated M for Mature. $20, downloadable for PlayStation 4.

“Brave Tank Hero.” A 3-D action tank game with a kiddie cartoon feel and with more than 50 missions. This game is debuting on the 3DS but will also be out for Nintendo Wii U in a few weeks. Rated E for Everyone. $5, for Nintendo 3DS.
