Two more Monday concert announcements trumpet area visits by renowned singer-songwriters of different generations: Gregg Allman, coming to ACL Live on May 9, and Ryan Adams, who’ll be at Gruene Hall on April 23.

Tickets to both events go on sale this Thursday, Jan. 30. Allman tickets, $36.50-$76.50, will be available starting at 10 a.m. via http://www.acl-live.com; Adams tickets, $49.50, will be available starting at 1 p.m. via http://www.gruenehall.com.

Also going on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. are tickets to two other ACL Live shows set for summer and fall: Weird Al Yankovic on Aug. 20 ($39-$79), and Mark Knopfler on Sept. 25 ($89-$145).

And here’s a freebie of note: Steve Earle is promoting his new disc “Terraplane” with an appearance at Waterloo Records at 5 p.m. on Feb. 12. The album will be out Feb. 17 on New West Records, but Waterloo will have copies for sale early at the in-store. No word yet if there will be any other local performance in conjunction with the in-store.
