Last fall, David Crabb delighted with "Bad Kid" his sweet, funny and yes, touching one-man show at the Long Center based on his own experience growing up goth and gay in San Antonio and in Seguin in the 1990s.

Recently, Crabb’s show netted a special citation from the Austin Critics’ Table as one of the sharper indie production to come through town last season.

This weekend the New York-based Crabb is back in town.

On Monday at 7 p.m. at Bookpeople, he’ll be reading from and signing the book version of "Bad Kid: A Memoir," recently published by Harper Perennial.

And on Saturday, Crabb will perform "$1800," a new solo show about the service economy. Crabb performs a the New Movement Theater:
