Hope you all had a great Labor Day weekend! We received more than 100 #Austin360Eats photos over the weekend, which I’ve added to the new September Storify gallery of user-submitted pics. (You can find that at the bottom of this post, too.)
Share photos of what you’re enjoying at Central Texas restaurants, cafes, food trucks and more by adding #Austin360Eats to your photos on social media. Each Friday, we run our favorites in print, which is where you can catch these Austin-area Instagrammers later this week.
Fried chicken and waffles never looked so good. Instagram user @eatingatx snapped this photo from Chez Zee, 5406 Balcones Drive, an Austin brunch staple for more than 20 years.
There’s always lots to love about chicken fajitas at Chuy’s, especially when the sliced chicken takes on the shape of a heart. That detail didn’t go unnoticed by @liveloveeatttt, who stopped by the Chuy’s on U.S. 183 last week.
Adi Anand (@adi7anand) has a strong lunch game, posting from both well-known and under-the-radar restaurants all over Austin. Last week, he stopped by Pueblo Viejo, a food trailer at 907 E. Sixth St., for that Taco Nes, made with steak, chorizo, grilled onions and cilantro.
Julieta, an Instagram user who goes by @julsjoys and splits her time between Austin, Geneva and Dubai, posted this photo of roasted chicken from 24 Diner just before her most recent trip Europe.
Kelly (@eatthegains), the blogger behind eatthegains.com, is a huge fan of the acai bowls at Blenders and Bowls, 206 E. Fourth St., which are made with the nutrient-dense acai berry, hemp granola, fresh fruit and honey.//storify.com/broylesa/austin360eats-september-2015.js?border=false&template=grid[View the story “Austin360Eats: September 2015” on Storify]
