Breaking news bulletin: Alabama Shakes makes good music, and Brittany Howard is humdinger of a singer. On Team 360, Deborah Sengupta Stith confirmed as much with a rave review of the “Sound and Color” band’s return to “Austin City Limits” (the TV show) on Friday, and Peter Blackstock checked in at the band’s Saturday ACL Fest set just to make sure they weren’t slacking off.

They were not.

Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes performs at the Austin City Limits Music Festival in Zilker Park on Saturday October 3, 2015. (JAY JANNER / AMERICAN-STATESMAN)

Our music writers aren’t the only ones who are raving about Alabama Shakes. See what fans at the fest were talking about Saturday night:

.@Alabama_Shakes killed it and whoever was running sound for their set should be doing every set.

Listening to @Alabama_Shakes today during their set at @aclfestival made me tear up. Such amazing talent and everyone was feeling it!

Aside from the music, Howard’s sartorial sensibility was on point:

Some experienced relief from buyer’s remorse:

Alabama Shakes were so incredibly amazing. I have no more Weekend 2/Florence regrets. ✨

— Lizette Longoria (@lizetteml) October 4, 2015

And even if they weren’t at Zilker Park, the “Don’t Wanna Fight No More” artists knocked some homebound socks off:

Alabama Shakes are on the ACL livestream. Suddenly regretting being several hundred dollars richer by not buying passes this year.

Watching Alabama Shakes put on a rock n roll clinic at @aclfestival (from my couch of course).

Tangentially related, fans of “Supernatural” actor Jared Padalecki spotted the famous Austinite at the show (yours truly spotted him before the Shakey Graves set, as well):

But alas, no set is truly perfect:

No "Hold On" from Alabama Shakes? Super sad pandas leaving that set. #360acl#ACL2015
