Deadmau5 performs at ACL Fest 2010. Jay Janner/American-Statesman

Austin City Limits Fest’s late night shows went on sale this morning. We predicted Leon Bridges’ intimate Parish show would be one of the first sell outs and by 10:02 a.m. there were no tickets available. Another lightning fast sell out we anticipated was sunny popster Børns.

There were a few fast sell outs we didn’t see coming. No tickets are left for giant mouse-ear-wearing DJ Deadmau5’s set at Emo’s. Deadmau5 is the only ACL Fest headliner playing an after show and Emo’s has a capacity of less than than 2,000 so we probably should have called that one, but still.

Night two of Canadian electro duo Zeds Dead’s run at Vulcan Gas Company is sold out, but you can still buy tickets for the first show.  We also underestimated the appeal of Brand New, a band that my 360 Mixtape partner Eric Webb assures me “is huge to people who like Brand New.”

More on our favorite ACL Fest after shows.
