The 2016 Met Gala was awash of silver, mesh and latex — and that was just Lady Gaga’s getup. Guests stepped up the theme-plate and brought their best “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology,” which mostly translated to some strange rings. Flip through all the fashions here.

With Monday’s confirmation of a “Space Jam” sequel and the news that Lebron James is set to star in it, came the inevitable question: Is he better suited to the “Looney Tunes” world than Michael Jordan? 3. My Burrito Finder app knows no limits.

What were we doing before? Just walking around not knowing where the closest burrito was located? Well, yeah. But, as A.V. Club reports, thanks to the new My Burrito Finder app we all have one less thing to worry about. If only it had a taco setting.

4. Launderette: still No. 1 in our hearts following James Beard Awards.

Looks like the James Beard Awards got it wrong. East Austin’s up-and-coming Launderette from chefs Rene Ortiz and Laura Sawicki was one of the six finalists in the running for the prestigious best new restaurant in America award, but didn’t come out on top. The honor instead went to Israeli restaurant Shaya in New Orleans, the American-Statesman’s Matthew Odam reports.

5. Do you still miss Liberty Lunch?

June 18 Austin is going to be looking a little more like it did in the 1990s. The “I Still Miss Liberty Lunch” benefit show will celebrate the music venue demolished in 1999 at ABGB, Austin360’s Peter Blackstock reports.
