OK Go at the Parish. A video for “The Writing’s on the Wall,” the first single from the indie-pop band’s new album “Hungry Ghosts,” already has topped 10 million views on YouTube, but that’s no surprise for a group whose career largely has revolved around inventive video treatments for its left-of-center songs. The band will stop by Waterloo Records at 5 p.m. for a short in-store performance before heading over to their show at the Parish with Austin institution DJ Mel opening. Technically sold out, 9 p.m., 214 E. Sixth St., theparishaustin.com. — P.B.
