Halloween is creeping up. TOM LANKES/AMERICAN-STATESMAN.

It’s rising from the grave and crawling at your windows. You can’t escape it. It’s finally come for you. There’s no sense in locking the doors and hiding under the bed armed with a fire iron: Halloween is here whether you’re ready or not.

But like the surprising ally in a horror film standing behind the monster waiting to blow it to pieces, we can help. Austin360 has compiled an entire Austin Halloween Guide to help you find the best parties, put together a last minute costume, and whip up a festive treat. If you’re adamant on staying in, we’ve provided plenty of games, a sinister playlist, and spooky reads for you to enjoy.
