A trifecta of Bay Area bands are coming to the Austin360 Amphitheater on March 5, and tickets for the show go on sale Friday. Iconic ’80s band Journey has teamed up with ’70s favorites Steve Miller Band and Tower of Power for a night of San Francisco sound. After some lineup changes, all three bands are embracing their pasts while heading full-force into the future. Each group has recorded new material in the past few years, and they’ll sprinkle these songs among the throwback power ballads that made them famous.

Twenty-one-time Emmy nominee Bill Maher brings his unyielding political comedy to ACL Live on Feb. 15. In September, Maher’s "Live from D.C." HBO special became the network’s most watched comedy special in five years. Ticket sales begin at 10 a.m. today.
