Saturday

"Anne Siems: Flora and Fauna." Anne Siems explores the landscape of the Pacific Northwest by creating portraits not just of the human figure but also of the forests in the area. Shaman-like trees bear mystical qualities and provide a background for Siems’ dream-like imagery featuring figures in 19th-century costume. In her blended style, Siems pays artistic homage to the European Masters, early American Folk Art and vintage photography. Opening: 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Gallery hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays-Saturdays. Exhibit continues through Aug. 30. Wally Workman Gallery, 1202 W. Sixth St. Free. www.wallyworkmangallery.com
