UPCOMING FOOD & WINE EVENTS
The Blind Cafe, a unique dining and music experience in which guests eat a light meal and listen to a concert in complete darkness, is returning for several events next week. On Wednesday and Thursday, the mostly volunteer crew, including a team of visually impaired servers, will host dinners in the dark at 7:30 p.m. at Vuka Co-op, a co-working and event space at 411 W. Monroe St. in South Austin. In addition to a "vegetarian sensory tasting" meal, the blind wait staff will participate in a Q&A with diners and Rosh & One Eye Glass Broken will perform. Tickets start at $45, and you can buy them at theblindcafe.com/tickets-austin. On Friday, Feb. 22, the organizers will host a Candle Light House Concert at the Eat, Pray & Stay B&B in South Austin.
