This week's television picks:
"Bridal to Homicidal" 7 p.m., E!: OK, to save myself, I'm withholding comment on these profiles of housewives on the edge. Are we good? Honey?
"U.S. Olympic Trials" 7 p.m., NBC: Hopefuls dive in for their shot at Olympic glory in these preliminary swimming events.
"Hell's Kitchen" 7 p.m., Fox: Sugar Ray Leonard and Tito Ortiz guest. I hope these go-to boxers brought to-go boxes.
"Love in the Wild" 9 p.m., NBC: Tonight's challenge involves horses, machetes and rank amateurs. What could possibly go wrong?
"Dogs in the City" 7 p.m., CBS: Samantha gets treated for worms while Miranda puts Steve in the doghouse again. Meanwhile, Big keeps Carrie on a short leash as she ponders if she really is man's best friend.
"Final Witness" 9 p.m., ABC: This new series creates re-enactments of murders from the victim's points of view, which makes me really glad I don't have a 3-D television.
"Wipeout" 8 p.m., ABC: Summer Season 5 premieres tonight.
"Twenty Twelve" 8 p.m., BBC America: This veddy British mockumentary follows a fictional team in charge of the upcoming Summer Olympic Games.
"Anger Management" 8 p.m., FX: When the entire free world suggested that Charlie Sheen should look into this type of therapy, we didn't mean as the premise for a new sitcom.
"Louie" 9:30 p.m., FX: One of the best comedies on TV returns for a third season full of honest, blunt and hilarious sad-sack mishaps.
"Awkward" 9:30 p.m., MTV: Season 2 begins tonight.
"Brand X with Russell Brand" 10 p.m., FX: If you've been as curious as I have to get the bad-boy comic's takes on politics and pop culture then you haven't been curious at all.
"U.S. Olympic Trials" 8 p.m., NBC: Female athletes jump — and not just for joy — in tonight's women's gymnastics competition.
"XIII" 8 p.m., Reelz: A secret agent searches for his true identity in this graphic novel-inspired conspiracy tale.
"Mariachi High" 9 p.m., PBS: I'll bet the pep assemblies here are annoying.
"U.S. Olympic Trials" 8 p.m., NBC: Run, Forrest, run! After tonight's track and field trials, the victors will have cleared another hurdle to Olympic glory.
"Bigfoot" 8 p.m., Syfy: I'll bet the titular star of this TV movie would do great in the 100-yard dash.
"Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition" 8 p.m., ABC: I don't know if this 493-pound guy's slim-down will help him find love, but it might turn up those missing keys and some old cheese puffs.
