World premiere of ‘Blue Like Jazz.' Austin High School graduate Marshall Allman stars as a Texas college student who flees his religious upbringing to attend college in the Pacific Northwest. The movie is based on the bestseller by Donald Miller and directed by Steve Taylor. 6:45 p.m., Paramount Theatre. Surviving Technology. George Friedman is the founder and CEO of Austin-based Stratfor (which was hacked in December by the group Anonymous) and author of books including "The Next Decade."
