Austin’s Remington Williams isn’t the first model discovered at Chipotle

The story of an Austin Chipotle employee, who was scouted while washing dishes and found herself modeling at Paris Fashion Week soon after, sounds like a once-in-a-lifetime sort of thing.

Which makes it all the weirder that the exact same thing happened two years ago in California. 

Like Austin’s Remington Williams, Angel Rutledge was working at a Chipotle, in Burbank, when she was approached by a photographer, Vogue reports. And just like with Williams, things moved pretty quickly from that point on.

Rutledge told Vogue that two days after she was approached she was instructed to quit her job and come to New York. Rutledge, like Williams, modeled during this year’s Paris Fashion Week for designers like Chloe and Dolce & Gabbana.
