Conservative political commentator Glenn Beck is selling his sprawling North Texas mansion.
According to a listing on Synergy Realty’s website, Beck’s mansion in the Vaquero neighborhood in Westlake (not to be confused with Austin’s Westlake) is available for $5.9 million. Although Beck’s name isn’t listed on the website, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports Beck is registered at the address.
The six-bedroom home is 9,100 square feet and sits on a 3.5-acre lot. The listing states the house "exudes sophistication" with a "gourmet kitchen," hand-cut stone, a "stunning master retreat" and a "backyard oasis" with a pool, spa, cabana, fire pit and guest quarters. The property also has "extensive security."
The Daily Beast reported last week TheBlaze, Beck’s media brand which is headquartered in Dallas, recently went through another round of layoffs. But he didn’t say that’s the reason he’s selling his home.
"I am putting my home up for sale because I fear this economy as we are headed for trouble and I don’t want to be sitting with a big huge house," Beck said on the radio, according to the Daily Beast.
In April, the Daily Beast reported Beck was selling off some of his pricier assets, including his private jet.
