Team Nancy, a WNYC podcast that features queer stories, is hosting a "Wikipedia Edit-A-Thon" during South by Southwest. On March 14, the team is inviting people to meet in person and online to edit Wikipedia entries.

The team said a majority of Wikipedia’s articles are written by cis straight white men. "This bias has served to indirectly skew and damage public outlook and understanding, and we’re not having it," the team wrote in a press release.

The group is inviting people to stop by the event with a laptop and charger. The team is also speaking on panels about diversity in podcasting and keeping creative energy in podcasts. Find out more about the events, here.
