LEGO artist Nathan Sawaya (as in, artist who uses LEGOs, not a guy who designs the bricks themselves) has installed six LEGO figures in Houston’s The Acre development as a part of his "Park People" installation, as reported by the Houston Chronicle.

The sculptures can be found on benches around the business area in The Acre, which is in the Allen Center, seven days a week.

Each LEGO sculpture requires about 21,000 bricks. Sawaya is apparently certified LEGO Master Model Builder and a LEGO Certified Professional. (They really need to figure out how to work him into the movies.)

Find this particular installation until Aug. 10. The sculptures will then be at 2 Houston Center until Aug. 24.

LEGO has long been a fixture at SXSW. Participants are well familiar with the tables of LEGOs at the convention center and folks from LEGO can be found on various panels.
