Carley Carroll and her roommates went to the Denton Police Department early Sunday morning to make a noise complaint about the party in the apartment above them. It was a good thing that the University of North Texas students were not at home, because the ceiling came crashing down while they were out.

According to KDFW, the floor in the noisy unit above Carroll’s second-floor apartment gave way just before 2 a.m., and party attendees had to crawl back up to the third floor. Water-spewing pipes, broken beams and plywood can be seen in photos of the wreckage. Watch footage from the scene below:
