Jonathan Terrell kicks off the Wine Down series at 3Ten on April 26. Nell Carroll/AMERICAN-STATESMAN

Once we start getting all those warnings about severe storms, you know all the cool free music series announcements are soon to follow. Last week it was KGSR’s “Unplugged at the Grove” at Shady Grove; now it’s KUTX’s The Wine Down, which kicks off April 26 at 3Ten with acclaimed local roots-rocker Jonathan Terrell.

Shows continue on the last Wednesday of every month through September, featuring live music from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. (with an intermission). This year’s wine tastings and happy-hour glasses come from Dreaming Tree Wines, with food samples from a different restaurant in the Second Street District each month.
