Austin TV station KBVO will once again broadcast high school football matchups this fall.

The city’s MyNetworkTV affiliate has unveiled a list of 11 Thursday night games that it will show beginning Aug. 29.

Missing this year are 11 Friday night games that had, in previous years, been taped and aired on Saturday nights.

Roger Wallace, sports director at sister station KXAN, will provide play-by-play and analysis alongside Texas Football Academy’s Steve Gideon.

In addition to airing on KBVO, the games will also be live-streamed on kxan.com.
