Alamo Drafthouse Lakeline, the Alamo Drafthouse’s newestand biggest location, is having a grand opening celebration starting July 22. Located in the Lakeline Market Shopping Center off of North 183, the new theater will feature 10 screens and seating for sbout 1,000. Alamo Drafthouse Lake Creek will close its doors after the evening’s movies on July 21, Lakeline opens the morning of July 22, and we’re off.

Highlights include a screening of the Korean monster new-classic "The Host" (July 23, 7 p.m.), a screening of the original 1968 "Planet of the Apes" for which attendees are encouraged to wear ape suits, masks and other primate ephemera (July 26, 7:15 p.m.) and all three of Edgar Wright’s "Blood and Ice Cream" Trilogy — "Shaun of the Dead," "Hot Fuzz" and the brand-new "The World’s End" — with series stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost in attendance (July 27, 3 p.m.).
