Every Saturday, Stronghorn Fitness offers a donation-based group workout at Zilker Park. And the donation, head trainer and owner Jess Martin says, can be handed over in sweat equity.
The hour-long session typically includes a 15-minute warm up of lunges, squats and jumping jacks, about 20 minutes of circuit workouts and high intensity interval training, and a cool down featuring yoga stretches and breathing exercises.
Bring a mat or towel and a good attitude.
The group meets at 9 a.m. near the volleyball courts in the shady area off Lou Neff Road, on the north side of Barton Springs Road.
