Boneshaker, an Austin non-profit working to get kids to "shake their bones and get moving every day," is planning lots of bicycling activities in the next few months.A Boneshaker "Kids to Parks" family ride is set for 8:45 a.m. Saturday starting at the Texas Rowing Center, 1541 West Cesar Chavez near Austin High School. Expect an on-the-bike scavenger hunt that includes stops at Breakdance Austin, a beach volleyball court, the Zilker Park Science and Nature Center, disc golf, Barton Springs and pro BMX. Bring your own bicycles and helmets or borrow one there. Water and healthy snacks provided. All ages and families welcome. Enjoy bike racing at all levels. Look for the Boneshaker tent for kid’s activities, fun and food. A $15 donation for adults and $5 for kids covers dinner and a Silipint Boneshaker cup.
