No matter if you are already a Paleo devotee or just curious about the "ancestral health" movement, a group of Austinites, led by Keith and Michelle Norris, is hosting the second annual PaleoFX symposium this week at the Palmer Events Center.
The event made its debut last year with a mix of speakers, workshops, workout sessions and cooking demonstrations, and a similar lineup starts Thursday and continues through Saturday. Featured speakers include authors Abel James Bascom, Robb Wolf, Nell Stephenson, Terry Wahls and Sean Croxton, who hosts the Underground Wellness Radio podcast .
Passes to the conference cost $279 ($199 for seniors and students), but you can buy a separate ticket to a Homegrown Revival dinner at Springdale Farm at 6:30 p.m. Saturday night featuring a multi-course dinner ($125) from Sonya Cote and Tink Pinkard.
If you can’t make it to the symposium, organizers are offering a live stream of the sessions for $29.99 per day or $79.99 for a three-day pass.
You can find the schedule, as well as information about buying tickets or watching the live stream, at therealpaleofx.com .
