One of Austin’s best and oldest dinner spots is opening its doors for breakfast and lunch for the first time since the 1970s. The Driskill Grill is open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. (4 p.m. Sunday) through August 30, serving a menu of breakfast items like migas and omelets and lunch items such as burgers and a cantaloupe and crab salad. The Driskill is also renovating the dining room of its Café 1886, which will be closed during the summer, but still servicing the terrace and hotel lobby.
