Apple is taking over ACL Live March 11-15, teaming with SXSW for the first United States version of the iTunes Festival. Musical performers include Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Pitbull, Keith Urban, Zedd and Willie Nelson.

The festival will be open to SXSW Music and Platinum badge-holders, with entry determined by lottery drawing at the Convention Center a couple days before each show. Full details about the lottery are available on a page at the SXSW site. The event will stream for free via the iTunes store.

Tuesday, March 11, features Coldplay, Imagine Dragons and London Grammar. Friday, March 14, features Pitbull, Zedd and G.R.L. Saturday, March 15, the lineup turns to country with Urban, Nelson and Mickey Guyton. Bills for Wednesday and Thursday, March 12-13, are to be announced.

The original iTunes Festival has been held annually in London since 2007.

All five nights of the iTunes Festival will be available to enjoy for free as a live and on-demand stream via the iTunes Store® on your iPhone®, iPad®, iPod touch®, Mac® or PC. Performances can also be seen in the iTunes Festival app on your iOS device or with Apple TV® in HD.

At the iTunes Festival in London over 400 artists have performed in front of more than 430,000 fans and tens of millions more online. Performances are available for purchase and download on the iTunes Store.
