Olympic medalist Gabby Douglas is coming to Austin for Wizard World Comic Con. The gymnast will sign autographs, pose for photo ops and conduct an interactive Q&A panel from 3-6 p.m. Sept. 23. Other celebrities making appearances over the weekend include William Shatner ("Star Trek"), Danny Trejo ("Machete"), Sebastian Stan ("Captain America: Civil War") and Matt Smith ("Doctor Who"). Wizard World is at the Austin Convention Center from 3-8 p.m. Sept. 23, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Sept. 24 and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 25. Esquina Tango’s 10-Year Anniversary. The Latino cultural heritage nonprofit is celebrating 10 years with a party that will have indoor and outdoor dance floors, entertainment by belly dancers, a special cocktail, bites from a food truck and more. Rolling Roadshow at the Salt Lick. The Salt Lick, in partnership with the Alamo Drafthouse, has brought back the movie series at the restaurant’s Pecan Grove and continues the fall screenings with director Joss Whedon’s Western-flavored sci-fi adventure "Serenity." "Mamma Mia," the hit musical based on the songs of Abba, returns to Bass Concert Hall on Jan. 27-28 as part of the Lexus Broadway in Austin season, presented by Texas Performing Arts.
