As a native of Wimberley, Sarah Jarosz was a natural choice to headline a benefit for flood victims being held in the city itself. “Rockin’ the Recovery” is set for this Saturday, June 20, with Jarosz joining Shake Russell, Kim Miller and more to raise funds for Wimberley-based nonprofit My Neighbors Keeper.
The all-day event will be held at Old Glory Ranch, 3633 River Road. Also performing are Jill Jones & 3 Hands HIgh, Broken Glass, Heather Wiley, Michael Shane Borden, the Rust Tones and T-Bone & the Blues Tones. Tickets run $15 to $75 and are available via the My Neighbors Keeper website.
My Neighbors Keeper is a 501(c)3 non profit offering immediate, short-term financial assistance to residents of the Wimberley Valley affected by natural disasters, such as flooding or fire.
