Summer series continue to come to a close as the fall season finally kicks in with new offerings from NBC and Fox. Here's what to watch and what to avoid on television this week:

Monday:

"Bachelor Pad" 7:30 p.m., ABC: The season ends tonight.

"Hell's Kitchen" 7 p.m., Fox: It's Christina versus Justin in the 10th-season wrap-up.

"The Voice" 7 p.m., NBC: Season 3 begins with all four celebrity judges returning.

"CBS Fall Preview" 7:30 p.m., CBS: The eyeball network is only airing four new series this fall and none of them are very smutty. That makes the choice of "2 Broke Girls" stars Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs a surprising choice to introduce them.

"Master Chef" 8 p.m., Fox: Christine fights Josh in a culinary battle for this season's title. Let's hope they don't get carried away with the knives.

"Intervention" 9 p.m., A&E: Not-for-profit drug and alcohol treatment center Austin Recovery helps to save the life of a mom who is also an alcoholic and meth addict.

"The New Normal" 9 p.m., NBC: This funny and envelope-pushing new comedy from "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy premieres tonight, and then appears in its regular time slot with another new episode Tuesday.

Tuesday:

"Go On" 8 p.m., NBC: Matthew Perry's new comedy falls into its regular time slot.

"The New Normal" 8:30 p.m., NBC: See? I told ya.

"Sons of Anarchy" 9 p.m., FX: Season 5 kicks off with trouble (what else is new?) in Charming.

"Parenthood" 9 p.m., NBC: Like many of life's worst problems, the new season begins with a family portrait.

"Bomb Girls" 9 p.m., Reelz: This "Sisterhood of the Non-traveling Bomb-Makers" drama follows fictional femmes and munitions workers whose husbands, lovers and brothers are off fighting World War II.

Wednesday:

"The X Factor" 7 p.m., Fox: New judges Demi Lovato and Britney Spears join Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid in the season premiere.

"Damages" 8 p.m., DirecTV: That's all she wrote. The series concludes tonight.

"Guys with Kids" 9 p.m., NBC: I'm only mentioning this awful excuse for a new sitcom to remind you to skip it.

Thursday:

"America's Got Talent" 7 p.m., NBC: Justin Bieber guest stars as this season's winner is crowned.

"Glee" 8 p.m., Fox: Season 4 begins with Rachel in New York and the McKinley glee club recruiting.

"Sullivan & Son" 9 p.m., TBS: I wishfully scribbled "series finale" in my notes, but tonight's episode is officially only the season-ender. A guy can dream.

Friday:

"Shark Tank" 7 p.m., ABC: An entrepreneur tries to sell the sharks on a belt-buckle drink holder.

"Touch" 7 p.m., Fox: The new season doesn't begin until the end of October, but Fox found an unused episode from Season 1 somewhere, so here ya go.

"2012 Style Awards" 7 p.m., Style: Actor and former Tom Cruise wife Katie Holmes (you can decide for yourself if that's redundant) presents the Designer of the Year award.

"What Would You Do?" 8 p.m., ABC: This scandalous riff on "Candid Camera" — in fact, let's just call it "Scandid Camera" — returns tonight.

"20/20" 9 p.m., ABC: A new episode premieres.

"Lost Girl" 9 p.m., Syfy: Season 2 concludes tonight.

Saturday:

"Pegasus Vs. Chimera" 8 p.m., Syfy: I don't know anything about this movie except it's got a killer title.

"Saturday Night Live" 10:30 p.m., NBC: "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane hosts the season premiere of the erstwhile comedy institution/cash cow.

Sunday:

"Boardwalk Empire" 8 p.m., HBO: The award-winning Prohibition drama returns for a third season.

"Weeds 9 p.m., Showtime: The pot dealer dramedy that lost its buzz years ago finally burns out completely in tonight's series finale.
