Austin Boat Show. It's not really prime boating season, but just as fall fashions come out in spring, summer pleasure crafts are showcased in winter, so you have plenty of time to scope them out. This show features 200 exhibitors and 20 area boat dealers, a wakeboard zone, interactive activities, seminars and more. Noon to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Austin Convention Center, 500 E. Star of Texas Tattoo Art Revival. This city is drowning in ink. Any taboos about tattoos have evaporated, encouraging body art of every variety. This annual event includes art galleries, contests, entertainment and three days of live tattooing. Noon to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday; noon to 7 p.m. Sunday.
