• Celeb sightings: This is a fine weekend for stargazing, with the Austin Film Festival wrapping tonight and the Texas Book Festival turning heads and pages Friday through Sunday. Actor Jeff Daniels ('Dumb & Dumber') presents Noah Baumbach's acclaimed drama 'The Squid and the Whale' at 7:30 tonight at the Paramount Theatre during AFF. At the book festival, Chris Elliott and Liz Smith will chat at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Paramount, and Elliot will screen his shameless comedy 'Cabin Boy' with author-funnyman Alan Zweibel at 9:45 p.m. Saturday at the Alamo Downtown. Legendary character actor Eli Wallach, for the book fest, presents one of his best films 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly' at 7 p.m. Friday at the Alamo South. Finally, at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Robert Rodriguez and son Racer Max will discuss the creation of the book and movie 'The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl' in the House Chamber at the Capitol. • Jury winners at the Austin Film Festival were announced over the weekend: 'Runaway' took the narrative feature (it screens at 9 p.m. Thursday night at the Arbor); 'Goodnight Bill,' narrative short; 'Still, Life,' documentary short; and a pair of Austin-made movies, Keun-Pyo Park 'Wake,' student narrative short, and Jeff Bowden's 'Dirt,' documentary feature.
