As for other weirdness and oddities on the Austin theater scene this season, Arts on Real presents "When Pigs Fly" and Austin Playhouse hosts "The Odd Couple." Hyde Park Theatre artistic director Ken Webster becomes wildman (and funny man) Eric Bogosian in "Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll," while Salvage Vanguard shines the light on the latest play from Dan Dietz, "Americanmisfit." Mary Moody Northen Theatre takes a swipe at "Durang/Durang," Christopher Durang's six short plays on life's absurdities. Austin monologist Steven Tomlinson waxes on the curiosities of the human condition in "American Fiesta" at the State Theater. And the Rude Mechanicals reprise their play based on the irreverent comic strip, "Get Your War On."
