Changes are in the works at several Austin TV stations.

Viewers of newscasts on KVUE, KXAN and KEYE will all see familiar faces depart the city’s airwaves this summer.

At KVUE, morning anchor and reporter Jessica Vess has announced she’s leaving to spend more time with her family. Vess joined the station in 2007, after a stint in Victoria.

Her final day on the air will be Friday.

“My sincere thanks goes out to all of you for welcoming me into your homes,” Vess wrote in a message to viewers. “I truly hope that I helped bring a smile to your face in the morning and served you well with the news of our community.”

The station is beginning a search for her replacement.

Weekend evening meteorologist Andrew Chung is also set to depart KVUE, in search of a meteorologist gig elsewhere. He’s been with the station for the past four years.

Chung’s replacement is Lynae Miyer, a Baylor graduate who has previously worked for stations in Victoria, Lubbock and Waco, as well as Salt Lake City.

KXAN weekend evening meteorologist Natalie Stoll waved farewell to viewers over the weekend. She joined the station in 2008.

“Natalie has chosen to pursue an opportunity working as a communication specialist for the Lower Colorado River Authority, starting in August," KXAN news director Chad Cross said. "We appreciate her contributions at KXAN and look forward to working with Natalie in her new role. We’re currently in the hiring process for the weekend meteorologist position, and you’ll see our other meteorologists filling in for now.”

And over at KEYE, reporter Christie Post will make her last appearance today. She’s accepted a job in Tampa, where she’ll appear on “The Now,” a new TV show being rolled out on stations across the country owned by Cincinnati-based EW Scripps Co.
